★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at one of these lovely Villas in this quiet village. The Pool was wonderful and there is a cool breeze up in the hills. It is lovely to explore the surrounding wine country. Our hosts were delightful and made sure we enjoyed our stay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful place to stay 20 min outside Heraklion. It is peaceful, the scenery is gorgeous, and the small village is perfect for a quiet, peaceful stay. The location in the mountain makes it cooler than staying down in the city. There is a small taverna that serves amazing food and a small grocery store that sells all the necessities and a little more. The people make this place and village special.
