★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 'Del Mar' is without a doubt the most beautiful setting you will find in the whole of Crete for a coffee, ice cream, cocktail, crêpe or whatever you might fancy! It is a small, family-run, totally unpretentious cocktail and snack bar, located so close to the waterfront that you can practically dip your toes into the sea whilst eating your breakfast or sipping on a traditional Greek frappé. The family who run this café are absolutely lovely and take huge pride in what they do. I have to particularly recommend their crêpes...sweet or savoury...they are delicious!
