Depis place & apartments - ΝΑΞΟΣ

The place we had was located on the lowest floor with access through the lobby so we needed to go through there each time we left or arrived. We were given keys for both the main and the room door so we could leave and enter at any time (also between 11pm and 8am which are the official times the office's not occupied). The room itself was a lower budget one and we had some complaints (toilet seat loose and the bed was screaming when you sat down on it), but both were fixed pretty fast and the service was overall very good. Cleaning was nice, every two days new towels and bed stuff. The balcony was not very nice as it had no view at all (basement style) but that's caused by the lower budgetgt room. There was a cooking plate and the bathroom was nice, although the shower had now Glassdoor or so so you'd need to be careful not to wet everything but that's the way it was designed so not really a negative thing. The whole thing was quite new which one can detect by the overall state of the building and room and by the fact that it hat Ethernet Ports everywhere. The WiFi was good though so I didn't have to test the ports but nice to have especially for an IT guy like I'm one ;) Overall good price/quality ratio, but choose something higher if you expect good views and everythings to be perfect from the beginning. Oh and we had an ironing board but no iron. No bummer for us but somebody else might've seen that as downside while the very nice reception ladies would've solved that problem within hours I'd say. Free transfer from the port to the rooms but not back. Remember that when checking out!

Quite fair place for the price. Clean room, comfy beds and friendly receptionist! TV not worked, not liquid hand soap or shampoo , only small solid soaps. Lack of space because the room is packed with extra bed.

The apartment is suitable for traveling with friends or family. The balcony is spacious to have a chat in the evening or hang the clothes to get dried in summer. And the location is good. It is easy to walk to the center and the beach.

There was a discount package which I was not aware of. We stayed more nights on the price of less and decided to take this advantage again. Whatever we needed we were given by Vagelis. We enjoyed the view of the sea and the orange and lemon trees with their fruits without snow. On 23 and 24 December I was able to walk with a T-shirt only. On 26 December we decided to spend some more time at Depis Place and I was able to manage this just on a phone call while walking at the port with my family...

The apartment we had was absolutely brilliant! 5 minutes away from the closest beach and 10 minutes from the town centre, it was ideal because of its quiet yet prime location. The staff were very helpful, they picked us up from the port and straight away started giving us information as to where to go and what to see. As for the cleanliness of the place? 10 out of 10! Everything was spotless, the room was cleaned every 3 days and I can easily say it had the best bathroom I've ever seen in all the holiday accommodations I've been so far in my life! Can't fault it in any way, loved every minute there.

Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed my stay, the room was clean and modern with the air con working perfectly! The shower was lovely and there was hot water all day (which was great), the location was excellent (within walking distance of both the town and the beach) and the service was brilliant with someone being on the desk pretty much all day. My only point of feedback would be how soundproof the rooms are... I stayed in a ground floor room and could hear everything going on at reception/ the room next door and the road above me. I also think that the main water pipe ran through my room as it became very loud when people showered. This would be my only criticism though, other than that it was a great stay at a fantastic price :)

Stayed at Depis place for four nights in October and I had a pleasant stay. The apartment had everything I wanted. A small kitchen, clean toilet, bathroom and beds (hair dryer included). They offer service so you'll have clean towels and a bed done everyday. My room wasn't by the road so it was really quiet. WiFi was fast. It's about 15-20 minutes walk from the port but close to nice restaurants like To Elliniko, Maros Taverna. There's a big Spar supermarket nearby and other small mini supermarkets. Car rentals and police station is a street away. Agios Georgios beach is an easy 10 minute walk away. Highly recommended.

We spent five days at Depis place. Unfortunately, there were a few issues with our room. The toilet seat as well as both drawers of our closet were broken, the bed was missing several slats and there were leftover crumbs from the previous occupants on our nightstand. There was also no shower curtain so the whole bathroom was wet after every shower, and there were no pots or pans despite there being a cooking plate. The staff was very friendly and helpful and had the toilet seat repaired and the crumbs removed within a day. We were also picked off the port free of charge, which was great. The towels and bedsheets were changed every two days. It's about a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the waterfront of Naxos and about 5 minutes to the beach. The area of the hotel is very calm, but sadly our room was located directly next to the reception, which would open at 8 am and get incredibly noisy with loud talking, doors banging and sometimes music, which made it impossible for me to sleep in late. Overall, we were content with the hotel, especially since our room was very inexpensive.
