★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i love how remote the location is, it's beautiful and peaceful - as if you were visiting your rich auntie or something, great vibe.
here's my problem - i always vacation start of may or end of september, but by then there's not many guests left there (which i like) and so the food at the hotel is scarce and with no real options to choose from. but the staff is super nice and would give you options and cook for you, so that saves it, they're great :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awful food, can’t even say there was anything to eat, especially for dinner. In the restaurant almost every single chair is broken, with holes in it. Rooms are old, not renovated, you can’t sleep on the second floor, due to the not working air conditioner. The only reason I am giving this hotel two stars is beacause of the beach, which is actually really good. The water is clear, the sand is soft and there are enough sunbeds for the guests. However, definitely not returning again, because in Greece there are a lot more beautiful beaches with better accommodations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were super friendly and very pleasant.
The rooms here vary in quality. Our room was one if the Super Apartments... which were mid range, but still nice.
The food was excellent, 5 star definitely for both breakfast and dinner. the beach was close... just a couple minutes walk down a path. The pools were very nice and always clean. We came with our 9month old baby and they supplied our room with a baby playpen bed.
We definitely would recommend Despotiko and would consider coming again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What happens when there is an in-house architect taking care of his family hotel.. A little paradise is born. My family and I spent few days in this hotel in June with another couple and their kids. We had a wonderful time! The first pleasant surprise happened when after one night we were upgraded into the ECO suites which are.. superb! Every single detail of the suites have obviously been well thought out by Alexandros, the charming architect, all the way to having an Espresso machine in each of them! The experience is luscious like the garden below and the swimming pools in it. The beach is only 50 metres away and is sandy and pleasant. The staff is nice, discreet and professional starting with the manager (Eleni?). All in all a lovely stay and experience, so surely recommended! We hope to be back there soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a lovely place. Quiet, relaxing, not crowded, pretty secluded. Has a restaurant that serves all meals. We had breakfast included. They have two big outdoor pools and one small one for kids. The Eco Villas have their own pools. They have a small playground for small kids. This is the second time that we're here. The first time was better in terms of breakfast as they had opened buffet, whereas now they serve breakfast a la carte.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's an amazing place. The suites are simply wonderful. Unique design. No wonder this place has won awards for its architectural design. The beach is right in front of the place and offers unique sunsets. The food also is quite good. Definitely come here if you want to relax and enjoy the perfect summer feeling
