★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oldukça kaba insanların çalıştığı zevksiz bir yer. Mekana girdiğimizde çalışan bir kadın yanımıza gelerek “Niye Suriye’yi bombalıyorsunuz” diyerek küstahça bir soru sordu. Bu konuyu konuşmak istemediğimizi söylediğimizde, sadece fikrimizi sorduğunu niye cevap vermediğimizi tekrar sordu. Konuyu konuşmak istemediğimizi tekrar vurgulamamıza rağmen Yunanca bir şeyler söyleyerek uzaklaştı. Önyargılı ve saygısız tavrından dolayı mekanı terk ettik. Mekanın fotoğrafını çekerken mekanın sahibi dışarı gelerek üzerimize yürüdü ve fotoğraf çekemeyeceğimizi söyledi, bunun hakkımız olduğunu isterse polis çağırabileceğini söyledik. Konuyu daha fazla uzatmamak adına uzaklaştık mekandan.
Unfortunate place where pretty rude people work. When we entered the place, a working woman came up to us and said, “Why do you bomb Syria? Üst and asked a brash question. When we told him that we didn't want to talk about it, he just asked our opinion and asked why we didn't answer. Although we emphasized again that we did not want to talk about it, he left saying something in Greek. We left the place because of his prejudiced and disrespectful attitude. While photographing the place, the owner came out and walked over and said that we couldn't take a photo, we told him that he could call the police if he wanted it. We moved away from the place in order not to extend the issue further.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A few weeks ago we visited Athens for a couple of days. Our hotel was near the historic Plaka area and while we were walking down the main street a beautiful necklace caught my wife's eye and she decided to try it out. It was an exclusive design from a famous greek jewellery designer. My wife wanted the necklace to be a little longer and the very polite salesperson measured my wife's neck and told us that they would take the necklace to their workshop and make it longer within an hour. We retutned within the next hour and it was there ready for us. My wife tried on the necklace again and it was perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Know your prices before you purchase and expect a high pressure sales pitch! We had just arrived in Athens and were strolling the Plaka when I saw a gold necklace in the window of this store. It was my mistake to purchase this before doing more research. The owner & the salesperson gave us a high pressure sales pitch (price was only good if we purchased it immediately). We paid almost double the price the necklace cost at other stores in Athens. We should have known better. Not a great way to start our vacation.

This beautiful store in Plaka has a wide variety of figures handmade by a greek artist. They are a little bit pricey compared to other souvenirs, but the quality and design well deserve it.
Constantino and his team are extremely kind and helpful. They even told us a little bit about Athens history! Definitely amazing customer service.
