★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As we walked in, the owner gave us a run down of the boards on display and then left us alone to browse, crazy right?! He was very patient, answered all our questions and was not pushy at all. Enjoyed the shop and happy with my purchase :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very High quality boards and pieces priced similar to the cheap souvenir boards you find elsewhere around the city. The board I bought was solid olive wood, with olive wood checkers, and hand carved wooden chess pieces corresponding to the chess board inlayed on the cover of the board. The owner even took the time to show me several versions of the board I liked so I could choose the wood grain, and changed the clasp for me to match my preference. Excellent product and excellent service; skip the souvenir shops and come straight here to get your board. You can celebrate your purchase with a beer at one of the nearby cafes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was SCAMMED ! Went here off a recommendation and spent a long time choosing a back gammon board. Chose a solid wooded board, the assistant told me it was made from the roots of an olive tree and I was very happy. He told me he would get a fresh one from the back and packaged it up. When I got home I realised the set was not solid wood but fake veneer!! The board wasn't cheap and I was lead to believe I was buying a quality product but feel I was scammed as i am forigne. I would not recommend and am very disappointed
