★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed at Dionysus Cottage Poulata for 11 nights in August 2020 and had the most wonderful time .. if you want to live like a greek .. then this is the place to be .
The cottage is small .. but is perfectly formed and has everything you need . Every morning you can here the goats pass by the gate as the herder takes them to graze .. it's a lovely sound ..
It's set in such a peaceful setting.. the only sound you will here is the noise of the Cicadas.
There is 2 local tavernas 100 metres or so down the road serving delicious food .. visited them both and highly recommended both. If you want to explore this side of the island this is the ideal location. If you want a holiday that's off the beaten track and non touristy then this is the place to be . Nigel and Lynn we will be back ?????
