★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very memorable experience, it was wonderful to meet an authentic and passionate Cretan farmer. Antonius welcomed us into his home and we sat around a neat table in his portico to refresh ourselves with the homemade yogurt that his mom made.drizzled with honey and sprinkled with fresh pollen grains.
Afterwards, he drove us to his farm and we saw the hives and he patiently showed us the busy bee hive at work and explained his busy bee like life. We got to taste some fresh honey from the beehive as well.
On our way back, we stopped to say "hi" to the mountain goats, plucked a fresh fig from the hill above and enjoyed it, looking over the Libtan sea. My boys are 19 and 15 and both enjoyed it thorughly.
If you are a person who likes a quite place to hide away from the tourist crowd and taste the life of simple farmer and his village then, a trip to Dosakis farm is worth a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my wife were in Crete for 10days, it was by far the best thing we did in Crete, the whole experience with the bee hives was something amazing, Antonio was very genuine, patient and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend the experience. Would defo do it again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing experience! Adonis is a very friendly and knowledgeable man. Our visit started with a tasting experience of the products his family produce . Honey (obviously) and olive oil that also come as part of the experience cost €20 and also some homemade cheese/raki/wine. Then it was a short drive to the hives , we all dressed in the bee keeper top with face covering and gloves. My youngest son (10) got to be chief smoker and Adonis opened the hive we got to see the queen and the cells with newly laid eggs and honey stores every process was explained . I think this was one of the best things we did on our holiday. 10/10 thank you so much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great day with Antonis! He and his family were so welcoming to us. We had a tasting of great homemade products, mostly from bees but also Raki, Oil and Yoghurt. Our experience with the bees was amazing, Antonis answered all of our many many questions and we learned a lot. A truly nice guy and an amazing host. Thank you for this day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very great time with Andonis. His family (mother, dad, brother) are local farmers. Thus we took some time to taste different products: honey, polen, propolis, royal jelly but also: raki, wine, olive oil… Getting to understand a bit their job, not only around honey, but also a bit of their life. Then visiting the bees! Opening the nest, seeing the queen, eggs, polen and honey. Even trying it right from there. It was lovely.
