★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is amazing, just between kalo nero and makry gialos, with view to the bay.
Starters were very well done, zucchini balls and fried zucchini were good, as well as the well spiced Greek salad. The home made bread is very good.
The lamb chops were delicious! The fried potatoes were not very well done, but this is how it is done all over Crete.
Service was very very friendly and quick!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely evening meal, served by the very welcoming family hosts. The setting on the hill under a cave that quite possibly contains a dragon offers a beautiful view of the sea and the sun as it goes down. The traditional Greek food was well prepared and very tasty. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful meal of grilled fresh dorado served with salad and vegtables grown in their own garden. The children ate fried kalamaris and a homemade burger respectively, both of which were also delicious. We spent a very relaxing two hours this afternoon as the only guests at this somewhat off peak time of the year (April) without feeling rushed or anything but welcomed. The taverna is the most authentic feeling we have experienced to date and we would thoroughly recommend heading slightly off the beaten track to experience it.

Home grown and local ingredients with the majority grown by the family themselves, fresh beetroot, home made stuffed vine leaves and delicious fresh salads! Definetly in our top 5 favourite taverns ever!
