m	mpampis antoniadis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η Βασιλική 3ης Σεπτεμβρίου, φιλοξενείται στο ναό που βρίσκεται κάτω από τα παρακείμενα κτίσματα της Διεθνούς Έκθεσης Θεσσαλονίκης. Πρόκειται για τρίκλιτη κοιμητηριακή βασιλική, που βρίσκεται στο χώρο μεταξύ του Μουσείο Βυζαντινού Πολιτισμού και της Διεθνούς Έκθεσης. Η Βασιλική αυτή είναι ιδιαίτερα διαμορφωμένη με «κύκλιον», ένα πλατύ, υπόγειο ημικυκλικό διάδρομο με μαρμαροθέτημα στο δάπεδο και διακόσμηση στους τοίχους, περιβαλλόμενο εξωτερικά την κόγχη του Ιερού Βήματος. Στο κέντρο του Ιερού Βήματος, κάτω από το χώρο που καταλάμβανε η Αγία Τράπεζα, βρέθηκε το εγκαίνιο του ναού που περιείχε μαρμάρινη λάρνακα και λειψανοθήκη από ασήμι με εγχάρακτο το χριστόγραμμα. Εκεί βρέθηκε ο θησαυρός νομισμάτων που χρονολογείται μεταξύ 380-450 μ.Χ. τα οποία αποδίδουν τη χρονική περίοδο της δημιουργίας της Βασιλικής. Το κτήριο παρέμεινε ανέπαφο κατά τη διάρκεια μιας επίθεσης Βαρβάρων τον 7ο αιώνα. Η εκκλησία συνδέεται με τον τόπο μαρτυρίου του Αλεξάνδρου της Πύδνας Basilica of 3rd September is hosted in the temple under the adjacent buildings of the Thessaloniki International Fair. It is a three-aisled cemetery basilica, located between the Museum of Byzantine Culture and the International Exhibition. This basilica is particularly shaped with "circular", a wide, underground semicircular corridor with marble flooring and wall decoration, surrounded externally by the hollow of the Holy Step. In the center of the Holy Tomb, beneath the area occupied by the Holy Trinity, the inauguration of the temple was found containing a marble wreath and a reliquary of silver with a christogram. There was the treasure of coins dated between 380-450 AD. which attribute the period of creation of the Basilica. The building remained intact during a barbarian attack in the 7th century. Το μεγάλο πρόβλημα του αρχαιολογικου αυτού χώρου είναι ότι βρίσκεται κυριολεκτικά θαμμένος κάτω από την οδό γέφυρα της 3ης Σεπτεμβρίου χωρίς να υπάρχει δυνατότητα να αναδειχθεί και είναι αρκετά δύσκολα προσβάσιμος. This archeological site does not only include a temple, the old Christian basilica, but is a wider area with several buildings including tombs. The big problem of this archeological site is that it is literally buried under the bridge of the 3rd of September without being able to stand out and it is quite difficult to access.
