Τό 1904 ὑπέστη σοβαρές ζημιές ἀπό φωτιά καί τόν ἑπόμενο χρόνο ἔγιναν ἀνακαινιστικές ἐργασίες. Ὁ Ναός εἶναι διακοσμημένος ἐσωτερικά μέ ἁγιογραφίες πού ἱστορήθηκαν πρόσφατα
 The Holy Church of Saint Megalomartyr Demetrius of Myrovlytos, built in 1835, is located in a prominent position in the center of the village of Nikoklia. In 1904 there was severe fire damage and the following year renovation work was carried out. The church is internally decorated with recently painted paintings
