I was at my best man's wedding. The Church is very nice. The father is a shining example, his speech is timely & apt. We need such fathers.

Σύντομα όμως ο ναός αυτός δεν επαρκούσε για τις ανάγκες της ενορίας. Η θεμελίωση του σημερινού Ι. Ναού έγινε το 1929. Όταν η αποπεράτωση του κτίσματος ολοκληρώθηκε, με σχέδια του γνωστού αρχιτέκτονα Αριστοτέλη Ζάχου, έγιναν τα εγκαίνια του Ι. Ναού στις 28 Ιουλίου 1936 από τον Μακαριστό Μητροπολίτη Δημητριάδος Ιωακείμ. Στην πανήγυρη του Ι. Ναού στις 6 Αυγούστου 1974 Holy Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior of Volos is one of the oldest churches in the city of Volos. The first church was built in 1891. But soon this church was not enough for the needs of the parish. The foundation of the current Holy Temple was made in 1929. When the completion of the building was completed, with plans of the famous architect Aristotle Zachos, the inauguration of the Holy Temple took place on July 28, 1936 by the Blessed Metropolitan Demetrias Ioakeim. At the festival of the Holy Temple on August 6, 1974

Α	Αντωνης Τσορμπατζογλου on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ όμορφος εσωτερικός διάκοσμος. Πήγαμε απόγευμα χωρίς να έχει λειτουργία αλλά, πολύ εύστοχα, ακουγόταν ψαλμοί εσωτερικά από τα μεγάφωνα. Very beautiful interior decoration. We went in the afternoon without a function but, very aptly, psalms were heard inside the loudspeakers.
