Monastery of St. George.
Very energetically charged place, although the monastery is small, but very well maintained.
At the exit you can partake of bread and dried olives, under the olives there is a table for the rest of a tired traveler and a cooler with cold water.

Very beautiful monastery for a Sunday stroll! The most striking piece is the old mill!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Holy Monastery of St.George (Agios Georgios) is a historical and very beautiful complex situated outside the Vamos village, and close to the Vrysses villge as well. It dates back to (at least) 1600 AD. The Church of St. George and the main buildings have been recently rennovated, and are very well-preserved by Dorotheos, the monastery's solitary monk!
The star attraction of the complex is the ruined building of the old olive factory, which is structured around 12 very impressive arches. It dates back to 1863 and provides some trully unique photo opportunities (see my pics in the photo album).
A must visit.
