★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very pretty scenery, and Mt Olympus is visible when clean skies. But be prepared, ski academies jam the ski lifts... be prepared for long waiting lines and kids bypassing the queue!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elatochori ski resort is nearby Thessaloniki so it's suitable for a quick one day trip! Usually it's busy on weekends but not that crowded on weekdays so try to avoid weekends.
I'm a beginner and it's suitable for beginners for sure. There are several slopes and routes. If it's too cold and icy, avoid the Green/Beginners Route since you have to ski through lots of ice and it's not that enjoyable. My suggestion is to stay on top of the mountain and get the plate lifts again and again. You may use the chair lift to go down in the end.
If you are experienced you can ski on the red/black route. It takes around 4-5 minutes of skiing from top to bottom this way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem in the mountain of Olympus. The staff were ever so friendly. Ski equipment hire was reasonably priced. Refreshments were a little steep compared to the prices in general when in Greece. I would recommend this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great ski resort for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. Good lift facilities with really good and friendly staff operating the tracks. The schales are ideal for a quick break. Nice view with lots of trees, one hour from Thessaloniki, make this perfect for a daily snowy escape.
