Για να το επισκεφτεί κάποιος χρειάζεται να έχει κλείσει ξενάγηση γιατί απαγορεύεται η διέλευση.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sfikia Dam is located about 20 km south of Veriaon Haliacmon river, between Asomaton Dam (15 km north) and Polyfytos Dam (12 km southwest). The dam was constructed at 1985 and it was made for the production of electricity for the region. Its length is 220 m and its height is 82 m.
The dam was established to serve as a hydroelectric power plant and its construction created the artificial lake of Sfikia.
