★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owners are really nice and they made our stay quite comfortable. The location of the complex is quite close to Chania center but a car is preferably to have.
Concerning the appartment itself, I wish we had more furniture and equipment to cook and clean. Some points need to be clarified in the original offer: 5€ for the washing machine and 24h of waiting time - a lot of cats within the complex so if you're allergic be careful - missing toilet paper, trash bags, towels - the gardens are not kept and maintained as in the pictures.
Next to that, it's perfect for families with children. The hosts are welcoming and helpful if you ask.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2011-06-25 - Was here a week and the hotel is really nice! The atmosphere with the owner creates for his guest is just great. The rooms could be better, but for us that was a minor due to the total experience. It is very easy to take the public bus from here in downtown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brilliant safe secure location great for families with young children. There are around 20 villas with 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms kitchenette table chairs sofa which can be used as a bed. The pool has a child friendly pool linked to main pool. It has security glass and doors leading to pool (3), are locked every evening and unlocked in morning. Lifeguard in duty all time pool is open. There is a cafe bar which does basic food more pricey than going out but convenient. Very friendly English speaking owners and staff who are Greek. Rooms cleaned once a week. They will do a bag if washing for 7 euro and bring it back same day washed and dried. There are lots of places for kids to explore. Its off the beaten track. 10 min walk to either LIDL or local Greek supermarket. Restaurants and beach 10-15 min walk. We never used car but there is parking if you do hire a car Its super child friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice apartment, silence and well situated in the middle of olive oil trees. Owner very kindly, the nice Swimmingpool ist a right place to play with your children. You need to walk about 20 minutes to reach the golden beach, there is a useful bus stop at 10min walking

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent hosts, a really nice friendly and very helpful family. We stayed there with no car and they were of great help giving us all the information we needed. The apartments were a relaxing place next to the beautiful swimming pool. Beaches near and we went to Chania by taxi (8€)

Highlights: good size gated pool, lifeguard, cafe serving tasty fresh food and drinks, laundry service, walking distance to beach and tavernas. Apartments have basic amenities but comfortable, clean and a good size. We had a great time here! Thank you also to the kind and hospitable owners and staff

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elea is an excellent accommodation!! The staff was amazing, all of them very kind and helpful. The recommendations for food and beaches were perfect. The apartment was tidy and comfy. The pool was perfect for chill and have a refreshing bath. If you go to Crete this is the best place to stay!
