Great hotel owned by a wonderful family, highly recommended for couples or families wanting a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, I would give it more stars if I could.

Always a friendly welcome from the family of this excellent hotel. I have nothing more than praise for it. I would rate it as 10/10 for everything. Cannot wait 'til my next visit.

Long term repeat customer - first visit was with Thompsons in '97 and we still go back as often as we can. For us, the quality is perfect - all we need is a comfortable bed, air con and a clean bathroom and all are provided, along with very regular linen and towel changes (not always the case). Facilities could be an issue for those with small children - there's a pool and a bar but no playground (to be honest, this lack suits us perfectly - it discourages those with young children which keeps it quieter for us!) The service is really what sets Sun City apart from almost everywhere else we've stayed and keeps us going back. It's a relatively small hotel staffed in the main by Gina and her family with help from long term employees (the cleaning lady has been there longer than we've been visitors!), some of whom have been extended family members (and one of whom is now considered an honorary daughter). While on paper Sun City may only have 2 or 3 stars, it has the full 5 hearts, otherwise the number of repeat visitors would be a mystery! (Most of the people we see there are old friends who we see once or twice a year - at Sun City! There are sometimes some new faces but after a year or 2 most of them are hooked too.)

2 adults and 2 kids under 5, this place met all our needs. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean, showers and facilities were all.in perfect working order. Location was excellent, 2 large supermarkets next door. Bus stop to Chania old town and the beaches and also 15 Min walking distance to 4 beaches! The staff were very accomodating and welcoming. LCD in each room which can be used with a Google Chromecast or Amazon firestick and there is WiFi. Pool was perfect for the kids along with toys. Will definitely recommend to others.

Sun City is the epitome of Greek hospitality. It is a friendly, clean and safe family run hotel,and has a lovely pool and bar, great snacks and a 'time is of no consequence attitude'. I have been to this wonderful place since 1994, with my wife, now withour children, and we have all made many friends from America to Europe. There are different beaches from 10 - 20mins walk away, ranging from the quiet, calm and serene to the bustling and busy, with lots of sports. The family are behind the scenes, but will do whatever they can to help you have a wonderful and relaxing time.

Myself, partner and 5 month daughter Sophia arrived 17th July 2019 for 10 nights. We couldn't have asked for a more warm welcome and hospitable stay. The room catered to our needs and more! We had a ground floor garden view apartment which had a small kitchen area with kettle, fridge, sink and all utensils/plates & cups. Large bedroom area which my partner loved as he hates feeling like we're all living on top of each other. Bathroom was your typical Greek bathroom just watch out as after a shower it easily gets flooded. The rooms were cleaned daily and couldn't fault how clean the rooms are. This hotel is family run and what an amazing job they do! Always smiling and greet you from morning till evening. The pool is fantastic lots of places to sit and relax. Also the food and drink is value for money and the Greek salad was by far our favourite of the holiday. Location: ideally located just 5 min walk to the beach.. few restaurants nearby.. Lidl right next door which is very handy!! .. Also there's a bus to Chania which stops nearby. (We hired a car so didn't use the bus) In all we would definitely recommend this hotel!! Looking forward to returning soon

Close to the beach, restaurants, shops. Beautiful views of the sea and mountains and it is not a surprise. A surprise was the owners welcome. From the very beginning I felt like visiting my family. Something amazing :) I spent my best holidays here and I hope to come back here again. Greetings from Poland :)

Thank you Gina, Maria, Ilianna and the rest i don't remember the name of! ? We are forgetful guys but Gina and her family helped us everytime we needed it! It is a hotel but it feels like you live with another family. They are just so friendly, warm and nice and I don't understand how they have the energy to be so polite and go out of their way to help in any way they can. The pool and bar was a great place to hangout in and I just enjoyed the overall experience so much! The short distance to some beaches wasn't too bad either ? Best regards Mathias and Pablo! ??
