★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place. We went to Plakias and wanted to have lunch. Found it on TripAdvisor and to our big surprise we drove away and up a steep narrow road and after some difficulties we found the place. Did not look much from outside, a beautiful painted door and we went inside. But we were stunned when we got inside. The view was amazing and the food and service was outstanding. I will definitely go back there next time I come to that part of the Island ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice restaurant in a panoramic position. The dishes are Cretan traditional and also some more modern versions. As you eat you will be definitely noticing the quality of the ingredients used in the preparation. Enjoy a quiet meal with a view of Plakias and the sea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elia distinguishes out from other restaurants as they offer quite a few original recipies that you cant find in any other place around the area. The day's specials change so one doesn't get bored.
The owners, Nikos and Nina have set a quite cozy and relaxing space to offer the most to their guests!
High quality raw materials and attention to detail will hopefully make it one of your best moments in the south.
Do reserve a table if you plan to go on busy hours, especially July or August the same morning or the previous day.
We visit it with family every year several times and its one of our favourite summer spots.
Tip: Do ask for Greek small brewery bottled beer list if you plan on drinking beer. Each one of them hides a different character. My favourite is "Volcan" from Santorini lager with honey and citrus.

Make a reservation. This place gets booked pretty fast. Good menu. Especially the daily specials.
We had lamb, pork, chicken with apricot and honey. Great tasting dishes.
Don’t forget to try desserts. Especially local ice cream with bergamot
