★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best meals in south Crete so far! Would give 7 stars for the hospitality if it was possible. The food was great, the female sheep really delicious and so the kebab. The offered sweet at the end of the meal was PARADISIACAL! Thank you Stavros and the girl that served us (we forgot to ask your name but we'll remember you!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our extended family of 9 had dinner here twice while staying in Plakias for a week. We stumbled on it the first night and were so delighted, we made sure to come back a second time and would have gone back a third time if we could. We sampled a wide range of dishes all of which were fantastic-- especially the pickled baby onions, the zucchini fritters, the fava dip, the lamb stew and so much more! There's something for everyone here, and the chef clearly is talented and pours love into the dishes. The service was fantastic-- We bought our server a beer we enjoyed him so much. The atmosphere is very relaxed, village style. Can't recommend this place enough!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fantastic traditional Cretan restaurant operated by a very nice family that understands to serve their guests with delicious food and superb hospitality!!! Even for me as a vegan with coeliac disease - they knew exactly what to offer and how to modify some dishes to make them gluten-free and vegan ?!! Big recommendation, we will definitely come back again ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A perfect experience of what eating in a traditional greek taverna means: hospitality at it's best, tasty food. Perhaps it's not always perfect, but it honestly does everything for you. And their 'lamb in oven' is brilliant.
