★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elia Estia, nonostante dalle immagini pubblicate su Booking sembra che abbia esclusivamente stanze con vista sul romantico porto veneziano, dispone i propri ospiti anche in abitazioni così dette “superior”, con vista su anonime costruzioni prive di qualunque interesse.
Quando ho chiesto di essere spostato in una camera vista mare mi è stato risposto che non vi era disponibilità e che io avevo prenotato vista città: peccato che al momento della prenotazione non era specificato alcunché riguardo all’orientamento della stanza.
Non solo: verso le 14:00 ho ricevuto una telefonata da Elia Estia nella quale mi si chiedeva, con tono al limite della gentilezza, come mai non avessi ancora liberato la stanza... io ho prenotato e pagato per 2 notti e questi mi vogliono fuori dopo la prima?!?
Mi hanno risposto che avrebbero controllato, dopodiché, evidentemente resisi conto del loro errore, non hanno neppure richiamato per scusarsi.
Infine, tra prima e seconda notte, non sono state rimesse le 3 cialde per il caffè.
Le camere sono pulite e spaziose.
Chania offre moltissime soluzioni di alloggio: sconsiglio vivamente Elia Este.
Elia Estia, despite the images published on Booking seem to have exclusively rooms with a view of the romantic Venetian harbor, also offers its guests in so-called “superior” homes, with views of anonymous buildings without any interest.
When I asked to be moved to a sea view room I was told that there was no availability and that I had booked a city view: it was a pity that at the time of booking nothing was specified about the orientation of the room.
Not only that: around 2:00 pm I received a phone call from Elia Estia in which I was asked, in a tone that was kind to the point, why I had not yet vacated the room ... I booked and paid for 2 nights and these want out after the first one?!?
They replied that they would check, after which, evidently realizing their error, they didn't even call to apologize.
Finally, between the first and second night, the 3 coffee pods were not returned.
The rooms are clean and spacious.
Chania offers many accommodation options: I strongly advise against Elia Este.
