★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Na, ja. Man kann hier nett sitzen und das Essen ist ok. Allerdings hatte unser griechischer Bauernsalat eine Ölkrise und der Oregano war wohl gerade verbraucht.
Wir waren zur Mittagszeit hier, da gab es keine Souflaki. Auf einen zweiten Besuch haben wir verzichtet. Wenn der Salat schon so sparsam ausfällt, werden die anderen Gerichte sicherlich auch nicht besser sein.
Well, yes. You can sit nice and the food is ok. However, our Greek peasant salad had an oil crisis and the oregano was probably just consumed.
We were here at lunchtime, there was no souflaki. We have waived a second visit. If the salad is so sparing, the other dishes will certainly not be better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elysee is a great traditional restaurant. If you are visiting Sparta don’t miss the chance to eat here. They speak English and have also a English menu. We eat a fresh Greek salad, also stuffed vegetables and the traditional Greek orzo with a super tender lamb.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent, classico Greek food!!! We got several different dishes in our large party and everything was to die for. It felt like the Greece I grew up in, amazing food, extremely helpful service (he called several hotels when he overheard we needed one and found it for us!) and the atmosphere and decor of classic tavernas.
