If you happen to be in Heraklion and have been putting off any dental work I highly recommend booking an appointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am on holiday in Crete, and after 2 sleepless nights with severe toothache, I searched for a dentist to see me early this morning. After calling I was helped with a same day appointment. And what a positive experience it was. Dr George Vardakis was so kind and patient while explaining the process, before and during the treatment. He did a root canal treatment. He was very professional and have put me at ease. I will, without a doubt, recommend him to anyone. I will come on holiday just for his treatment :-) From a happy and pain free patient

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful experience. I've never been to a dentist before and was extremely scared as I needed a tooth removed and he was very kind, gentle, calm and funny. Made me feel good and relaxed. The whole procedure he talked to me about what he was doing and also funny conversation. The best ever!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After12 hours into our holiday in Crete from the UK I had unbearable raging toothache. After googling for a dentist at 2am I messaged at 8 30 on a Sunday morning and he made an appointment to see at 12noon the same day. As someone who has a phobia of dentists I was even more worried about visiting one in a foreign country.
The moment I got there George was kind, understanding, patient and was re assuring me throughout the entire treatment. I would recommend anyone visiting the area with problems to see George 10/10!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On day 5 of a month long trip to Greece I lost my crown eating baklava… I was going to be traveling through Heraklion and called Dr. Vardakis. He scheduled me in on the day I was passing through, cleaned and glued my crown back in place. His office is state of the art, modern and he is a gracious and lovely man. This was during Covid pandemic and I was very happy with the professional and Covid safe treatment. I can actually say I enjoyed my trip to the dentist! I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Dr. Vardakis in the future, in fact I may schedule any non urgent dental care with a vacation to Greece!
