★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perhaps the most well known meeting place for all the small villages nearby rethymnon city. Nice bar, interesting design and great view. All sorts of people around, mainly locals, could do with more consistent music choices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's said that if you want to learn about a restaurant's quality take a look at their toilet. At this place they definitely don't care about visitors, leaving toilet doors broken even after getting complaints. Non-lockable doors, with handles falling to pieces in one's hands, ridiculous and weird to see for European tourists. Can't believe there's no man to take a screwdriver and mount a latch for the price of a cup of coffee from a hardware store nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice restaurant and beach bar directly at the beach in Skaleta. Friendly staff and good Greek food at very reasonable prices. The restaurant has a variety of dishes to choose from, including Greek salad, Tzaziki and other small dishes as well as BBQ specialties. The grilled beef patties were very tasty. We enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere, the good food and the view of the beach.
