Epikouros Restaurant-Taverna is located on the central street in Delphi town, the “Navel of the Earth”.

We ordered cheese flutes with honey, pumpkin soup and pork a la creme. The flutes had a good balance between the cheese and the honey, the pumpkin soup was very tasty, good choice for cold days, and the pork was tender and tasty! At the end they also offered dessert on the house, which was also very nice!

Our waitress walked us through the menu to let us know which will be fastest. The food was very good and fast! Our waitress was very accommodating, especially to our young son. Great place, nice view and good selection of food.

The spot is beautiful and if you’re dining on the terrace you can witness the most spectacular view. There wasn’t loud music nor annoying waiters. In fact, they were attentive and nice. The Epikouros Restaurant offers the opportunity to sample an array of dishes of flavoursome traditional cuisine. !Before you order! Bare in mind that the portions are LARGE, and they also serve garnish with main dishes. What we love about Greek food is The Dakos Salad! It is an absolute must to try! We also love kleftiko - slow cooked lamb with traditional seasoning. And Souvlaki is the best dish for your children - fat less meat cooked on open fire and they serve it with fries and cooked veggies. We also wanted to try something different and ordered local Delphi salad, and, as for me, it is much like Caesar salad, but lighter. While we waited for our food they made us a gift- traditional Greek dip - Tzatziki - a dip of yogurt, cucumber, carrot, garlic and oregano. It was delightful. And in the kitchen end, they presented us sliced melon and watermelon. Maybe it’s not much, but it does show their attitude So, as you can guess, I HIGHLY REClOMMEND this tavern

And I was not told before that there was an extra charge. It felt a bit unreasonable.. I was very impressed. No will go again a second time
