Best Greek restaurant in Greece

We ordered a few plates to share including the local greek salad, stuffed eggplant, spinach and cheese pie, fries and bread. The local greek salad our server told us was different to the normal greek salad because of the local cheese called "Opsimotiri". The local cheese is made from goats yogurt and is a bit like a Labne - absolutely delicious spread on bread or eaten with the tomato in the salad. The fries were hand cut home style thick fries - not a fast food chip in sight. The eggplant was a standout - baked with a herb rich stuffing and sauce and topped with a yogurt dressing. The spinach pie was a bit of a let down - although it was delicious, it was greasy.

This place truly stands out from the rest due to its remarkable service mindedness of the staff and mouth watering food specially the aubergine was simply delicious ?. The restaurant is beautifully built and easy to locate, Highly recommended. We were offered a complimentary sweet after our lunch.

M	Mandi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I stopped by this restaurant when we visited Delphi. This restaurant was in a cute little town. The food was affordable and great! The menu was on the wine bottle, which I thought was pretty cute. I got the lamb chops and it was delicious. The meal at the end came with the complimentary Greek yogurt with cherry sauce and cherries - that was the best yogurt I ever had! The owner was super nice. We came during off season for skiing so the town and restaurant was pretty dead. The shops near by didn't open until 5pm.
J	Jan Cimburek on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you are visiting Delfy don't forget to visit nearby ski resort Arahova and once you are there go to taverna Phterolakka. This tavern is a hidden gem on the main street. There is only a narrow entrance so it is easily missed so be carefull not to walk by. Once inside it is very cozy, probably run by a family. Service is excellent, warm and friendly, they have menus glued on a wine bottle and always reccommend you daily specials. Anything from the menu is fresh and tasty. We had amazing spinach salad, dolmades, local grilled sheep cheese and many more delicious plates. This place is a must once you are in beautiful Arahova.

We must’ve been the first patrons of the day as the lights were barely on when we walked in. We were seated and the restaurant hummed to life slowly. The menu was wrapped around a wine bottle, which was a pretty cool presentation. However, the food was mediocre at best. We ordered fried cheese, beef stew, and minced meat wrapped in cabbage. We couldn’t get used to the flavors, and the beef in addition was very tough to chew. We ordered these dishes on the waitress’s recommendations, but ended our meal without finishing two out of the three dishes. Service was decent at the beginning but then petered out after we ordered. We had to track the wait staff down to pay at the end even though no one else was dining in the restaurant at that time. We really wanted to like this restaurant given it’s high reviews on Google and the cool menu presentation - but both food and service ultimately came up short for us.
