★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our friends happened to tell us about Eumelia when we were in Greece this summer and we were so happy they did. After traveling around the country for a month, we decided to go and it turned out to be the highlight of the trip. Frangiskos & Marilena are excellent hosts and have created a sustainable paradise in the Peloponnese. They are the heart and soul of the property and we really enjoyed spending time with them. It's truly a place where you can unwind and are taken care of. I emailed prior to our stay to let them know which of their offerings (yoga, cooking class, wine tasting, etc) we were interested in and they created an itinerary for our stay.
I am a chef, and loved the cooking class with Marilena where we made local dishes and discussed the local ingredients and cuisine. Of course we got to eat everything after, which was all so delicious. We also joined them for a wine tasting, which gave us an introduction to the well crafted wines of the region. We ate dinner with them every night of our stay as well, and Marilena's breakfast spread is not to be missed!
The guesthouses are really comfortable. It's like having your own house with an ample kitchen, living room and bedroom with a very comfortable bed. All the buildings at Eumelia are constructed with natural, breathable materials, which is wonderful in the summer because they are still comfortable even without air conditioning. They also all have WiFi, which is great if you need it, but really why would you since this is really a place where you can give your brain a rest and disconnect.
The grounds of Eumelia are surrounded by olive groves and they also grow their own grapes and other produce. They also have animals (baby pigs! friendly dogs!). We also really enjoyed having Frangiskos take us on a tour of the property and learning about his vision for it.
The location is also a great jumping off point to explore the region. We went to Monemvasia for an afternoon and Sparti on our way back to Athens. There are other nearby villages that are fun for exploring too.
Ultimately, we can't wait to go back and next time will definitely spend more than 3 nights. Eumelia truly is one of those rare spots on this planet where you can completely unwind and feel at peace—and enjoy great food, wine and company while you're doing it. I can't say enough about it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My father and I had a wonderful stay. Johanna was very gracious and a terrific cook. The farm was a peaceful break from the rest of our Greek road trip - pretty scenery, friendly pet dogs, an animal pen, ancient olive trees, and amazing food. Accommodations are simple and comfortable, nothing fancy. Can also be used as a home-base for day trips nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful experience to see a different part of Greece! My friend and I came here on a week long trip to Greece and we spent two nights Frangiskos and his family were very welcoming and we felt right at home on the farm. We took the olive oil tasting class and the cooking class, which was very convenient given that the weather was cold and we could stay right on the premises. The tiny "cabins" are cozy. Would recommend this for travelers wanting to get off the beaten path and experience a different part of Greece travel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a perfect place to unwind and get in touch with nature. Quiet, scenic and relaxing, we loved every minute here. The service was excellent and we had the good fortune of meeting great people. The olive oil tasting was a lot of fun and informative. The dinner and breakfast were excellent.
The villa was very comfortable and inviting. Even in winter, we stayed warm and had a great night’s sleep!
The owners are very passionate and love what they do. We had a great time here and would recommend it to anyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The perfect place to unwind and return to nature. Very peaceful and quiet environment, beautiful farm and extremely friendly owner/host. Excellent dinner from farm produce and a great selection of wine from Greece vineyard. Highly recommended for anyone needing a break from city life. Oh yes! If you love dogs, there are 3 mascots in the farm; namely Amigo, Friendly and Buddha. Enjoy your stay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We as a family were a huge fan of Eumelia Organic Agrotourism Farm. But sadly even though we love what it represents, as a agritourism & ecotourism accommodation, we cannot dismiss the beliefs of the owners that contradict what Eumelia supposing is.
After the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, all people had to make a decision regarding being vaccinated or not and if this actually works or not. Between all of us, some people decided to reach the extremes and become either strongly in favor of vaccination, rejecting people that decided not to be vaccinated or strongly against the vaccines, rejecting people that decided to get vaccinated.
Fragkiskos and Marilena, the owners of Eumelia selected the latter, becoming extremist against people that believed in the vaccines, not only pushing it through their personal FB pages but also as they declared they decided to end their relationships with people of opposite beliefs.
And my question is, if you reach in such extremes for your beliefs, why don't you do that in your professional life? Why don't you declare that Eumelia is only for unvaccinated people or for people with similar beliefs. And most importantly, is the staff of Eumelia vaccinated? And if not, do you inform your guests, so as for them to have a choice?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here for 2 nights with a friend. It's a bit out of the way to get to from Athens but we were both glad we went. The location is beautiful, the farm and accommodation have all been developed following eco principles as much as possible so the accommodation is a little rustic but had everything you need and the beds are very comfortable! We were well looked after during our stay. The breakfast and dinner were amazing and we also did the wine tasting and olive oil tasting. Marilena is trained in both things so we learnt a lot! The farm tour was also really interesting and you can see that a lot of work and thought had gone into building what is there now. Getting the bus there and back was a bit of an adventure but very comfortable and the scenery on the way is beautiful. It was a bit pricey but we're glad we went and we could have easily spent another day relaxing there!
