★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found this place randomly just by walking by as I heard a sharming voice of a girl singing there, and a guy accompanying with his guitar. Stayed there for 3 or 4 more hours talking with an owner-bartender and his customers. We all had a great conversation. The bar itself has a great atmosphere and a huge selection of drinks for every taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best local bar experience in Athens. We came to this small and charming bar because it was around the block from where we were staying and because we had seen some high reviews. It's a neighborhood joint with a few regulars who come in every night sometimes to watch the local sports game or just to hang out. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Christos, the owner, is beyond cool. He is a world traveler with great taste in music, especially classic American rock. We came back to the bar more than once during our trip for the relaxed local vibe and to hear the amazing stories of Christos life before he opened the bar. You will be poured many (too many) shots of Tsiporo, so expect to say Yamas a lot through out the night and have a memorable local Athens experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the nicest bars I have ever been to. We were walk in guests in January. We were directly greeted with a shot, people asked us what music we would like and engagded in tremendous conversations. We wanted to have a quick beer and stayed for 3 hours. Super cool bar, very familiar and absolutely recomendable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Christos bar became a legend of Athens. I was glad to discover the place by chance one day of april 2019. It’s to my opinion the Best local pub of Athens away from heavy touristic places and next to the Acropolis. Live music Sunday’s. Very friendly atmosphere and excellent prices. Also has a beautiful terrasse. Always happy to pass by when I’m lucky to be in Athens. A must
