★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were there on June 24 2019 so sadly, no water and no waterfall. All in all, very good exercise, going up and up and up! with smells of sage and thym along the way. we climbed up to the now dry waterfall spot. i don't know were you can exit this gorge... then we got right back down. be careful, its slippery. also make sure not to miss the red signs or you re off the trail pretty quickly. nice view from above although the gorge is not as impressive as other gorges in Crete, ie long, with tall and narrow rocks. still it was quite enjoyable..to enter the gorge, follow the red sign on a few rocks on the field you see at about 20 meters to the right and slightly above from the spring (at about 1km from Spili to Ag. Galini) as shown in the photo.
