H	Heller Péter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience but proper shoes are needed.At the more difficult areas there are ropes to help and have to cross a small river at the end of the route.The 1.5km takes around 1.5 hours and if you have to walk back to the car,that's another 1.5hrs.The front of the lake is dirty,doesn't worth going there,however was is great from the top on the way back.

The gorge offers facilities for picnic, with a spring of running water near the river. A beautiful attraction of the gorge is the cavernous church of St. Anthony in the rocky walls. From there you can follow the trail towards Potami dam till a dead end with a beautiful waterfall and then return back. Furthermore, on the sides of the gorge there is an observation deck in the area.

I	Iva Simonová on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Breathtaking, adventurous hike through the canyon, the bottom of a dry river. 3 km of active movement through rugged terrain, where you climb some sections of rocks using ropes and ladders. Great. We, the amateurs, did it too. There is no other way back than to repeat the whole route back. I recommend to all more active people. T	Tyubo 1050 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very scenic! Just a little short as the gorges ends up as a dead end after a few kilometers. So it’s a good occupation for a short walk before sunset.

I was not dressed appropriately as you will see in the picture (dress and air force 1s) but I still managed to do the hike (please were trainers though, it will be much easier and more enjoyable!) The route is absolutely amazing, not easy but it’s definitely worth it. This is my second favorite place in the entire Crete and it’s a must for anyone to visit!
