★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am Greek, I was on vacation and I got seriously ill with my stomach and a strong migraine. The lady in the pharmacy (not Greek), was the only person on the island who helped without trying to steal or overcharge me. She brought the medication to my room without charging me more and she also gave me a receipt. Paradoxically, the first and only receipt I got from Santorini! If you plan to visit Santorini be careful not to get sick because most of the locals, from the taxi driver to the hotelier will try to take advantage from you and charge you crazy money once you will ask for their help. it’s really a pity on a Greek island the only person who helped me was not actually Greek at all... Really thank you for your help! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They refused us to serve us the amount of painkillers requested. To be clear, we were asking for ibuprofen 600mg, which is a common painkiller in Europe available in every country without prescription (I know by experience that this is true for Italy, France, Spain, Great Britain, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Greece). To justify their refusal, they gave us two different justifications: first that they're not allowed to sell more than one packet due to high demand and low stock, afterwards that they were out of it. Which one is the true version? Who knows. Upon our protest (we used no insult or offensive word), we were treated extremely badly by the owner who almost insulted us. My advice: there is plenty of pharmacies in Santorini, please avoid this one!
