Αξίζουν πολλά Συγχαρητήρια στην Φαρμακοποιό κ.Αλεξάκη , που προσφέρει τις γνώσεις κ τις υπηρεσίες Υγείας , σε ένα απομακρυσμένο , τόπο ,που είχε πραγματική ανάγκη για πρόσβαση στον χώρο της Υγείας. ???????????

I would not recommend this pharmacy for the rapid test for travel. I went to the pharmacy on Monday 27 September and enquired about the rapid test for travel. My husband and I are staying in the area so it is a convenient place to do the test. We had already enquired of 3 pharmacies in Chania, each of which had stated that the cost is 10 euros per person, including the certificate. I was told that the cost here was 10 euros and I was told I would need to show the locator form that we had completed for travel to Greece and to bring our passports. My husband and I arrived at the pharmacy for our tests yesterday. After the tests were done we were asked to pay. We were charged 60 euros for the two tests. I queried the cost as I had been told the previous day that the cost would be 10 euros per person so 20 euros in total. The reply was that 10 euros is what they charge for a rapid test for someone going back to work. This is not what I had been told the previous day. My husband paid but telephoned later and enquired about the cost of the rapid test for travel, to check what information would be given by telephone. This time he was told that the cost is 25 euros per person. My husband went to the pharmacy this morning to query the charge, and was told that in an open market a pharmacy may charge whatever it likes for this test. He mentioned the information provided by telephone and was told that an extra charge is made for payment by credit card - in our case 10 euros. I remain concerned that I had been given one price (10 euros) which is in line with the Chania pharmacies but we were charged 20 euros more on the day. We previously had the rapid test done at the Affidea clinic in Chania (in August) and they charge 20 euros per person. The pharmacy is the old harbour in Chania (near the fountain) is completely transparent with the charge for the test - it is displayed on their billboard.

I just wanted to share my opinion of this amazing place. They have several times been hugely helpful to us and have always MEANT to write a review but... yesterday was special, and so I HAVE to do it!! Yesterday my husband - out of nowhere - became so dizzy that he couldn't move his legs without falling. He is very fit (plays tennis four times a week) but over sixty and I absolutely panicked. After he started vomiting I rushed to the Pharmacy at Chorafakia. She came out at once and took his blood pressure WITHOUT HIS HAVING TO LEAVE THE CAR. Then they attempted to call two local doctors. When neither was in she advised me to drive him straight to the hospital, but also reassured me that it was 'probably' not a stroke. I mentioned all this to my friend Lena who lives here all year around (we live here for only part of every year) and she said, "They could not be better, harder-working or more helpful to everybody!"
