★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο φάρος αυτός κατασκευάστηκε το 1894 από την Γαλλική Εταιρεία Φάρων. Το ύψος του πύργου του είναι 7,5 μέτρα και το εστιακό του ύψος είναι 9 μέτρα. Ο πέτρινος φάρος στο ακρωτήριο Σουσάκι βρίσκεται στην ακτή, δίπλα στη θάλασσα. Είναι σημείο αναφοράς της περιοχής, καθώς είναι ένας από τους δύο φάρους που οδηγούν με ασφάλεια τα πλοία στον ισθμό της Κορίνθου. Έχει εστιακό ύψος οχτώ μέτρα και ακτίνα φωτοβολίας δώδεκα ναυτικά μίλια. Σε συνδυασμό με τους φανούς του λιμενίσκου των Ισθμίων διευκολύνει τα καράβια που προσεγγίζουν τη Διώρυγα της Κορίνθου από Ανατολικά. Επίσης είναι το δυτικό όριο της ράδας για τα πετρελαιοφόρα που θέλουν να φορτώσουν ή να ξεφορτώσουν στους Αγίους Θεοδώρους. Σε μερικές διοπτεύσεις τα φώτα από τα εργοστάσια πίσω του κάνουν δύσκολη την επισήμανση από τη θάλασσα. (Πηγή: Φάροι της Ελλάδας).
This lighthouse was built in 1894 by the French Lighthouse Society. Its tower height is 7.5 meters and its focal height is 9 meters. The stone lighthouse at Cape Sousaki is on the coast, by the sea. It is a landmark of the area, as it is one of the two lighthouses that safely drive ships to the Corinthian isthmus. It has a focal height of eight meters and a radius of twelve nautical miles. In conjunction with the lamps of the Isthmian harbor, it facilitates the vessels approaching the Corinth Canal from the East. It is also the western end of the line for oil tankers who want to load or unload on Saint Theodore. In some sightings the factory lights behind it make it difficult to spot the sea.
