Το καταφύγιο προστατεύει κυρίως από τους καιρούς χωρίς να προσφέρει επιπλέον υπηρεσίες σε απαιτητικά σκάφη. Με σχετικά ρηχά νερά για να εισέλθει μεγαλύτερο σκάφος.
