One thing the restaurant misses is the hospitality Afghanistan is famous for. This is the first Afghan restaurant I’ve visited in the world where the Afghan staff were quite emotionless (as opposed to the usual warm and welcoming vibe).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cute place , it's actually the first Afghan restaurant i've seen in Athens. We got rakomela (tsipouro/raki with honey and cinnamon), ouzo and a portion of fries and everything was excellent. We also got the chicken sandwich and the taste was very unique. Overall it's a very fun and friendly place and everything is extremely cheap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant in Exarchia (Athens) serving food from Afghanistan. ?
I really liked the outdoor seating area of the restaurant ... and some of the dishes I tasted were delicious. ? However, for somebody having enjoyed outstanding Afghanee home cooking (for a few years) I have to admit the rice dish with the lamb was disappointing! ?
The service is prompt and courteous and the prices very reasonable .... & .... it's a nice place to enjoy a meal with friends after a long walkabout in the Exarchia neighbourhood .... that is always a good idea! ?????
