The shipwreck is easy to find, with corroded remains on the bank indicating the wreck just below the waterline. I snorkeled from a further south bay to the wreck in about 10 minutes without any problems. Will take this as an opportunity to research the unfortunate history of this approx. 80-100ft ship ...

Not that easy to get to (sturdy shoes are recommended), but the wreck is really impressive!

The wreck was very interesting. It’s a little hard to get to the shore but if you’re lucky or they let you through the back gate of the ancient ruins from where you get to the sea right away. If they are not allowed through the ruins then at the end of the fence of the ruins there is a path halfway to the church. At the church, turn left and follow the path to the shore. About 100 meters from the shore is the wreckage indicated by the wreckage pieces laid on the rock. It is an amazingly beautiful and amazing experience. I recommend it to everyone who loves to snorkel.

Sehr cooles Erlebnis!
Very cool experience! The shipwreck is just below the surface of the water and is easy to reach. Trainers or sturdy shoes should be worn as the path to the puncture site is rocky and covered with plants. With a simple snorkel and diving goggles it is easy to reach the tailcoat. Only to be recommended!

The boat is easily found. Especially at low tide. Water shoes and masks are required. Access: park in the parking lot of the archaeological site. Go up to the church. Leave the church on your right, walk along the fence of the archaeological site and arrive on the beach Ps: the boat is easily identifiable from the coast (it is in two pieces)

This was a really fun snorkel site once we found the way to access it. It’s about a 10 min walk if you park on the road next to the church (past the ancient site), go through the wire gate, walk on the trail past the church and then turn left and enter the water at the beautiful secluded beach shown in the picture. You may be accompanied by some goats on the trail. Once in the water its a 5-10 min swim to the flotilla and it’s really cool. We snorkeled it with 4 kids, youngest was 6 years old. The ship wreck is only 3-4 feet deep and very interesting. If they start to get cold while exploring the ship wreck (like my littlest did), there’s a small beach right next to the ship where they can warm up. If you follow these directions you won’t need to hire a guide.

Shallow shipwreck perfect for snorkelling. We parked next to the ancient ruins and went through the sheep farm (there must be an easier way of getting to the sea though!). Came across the little beach - not another soul in sight. The shipwreck is to the right around the coast, an exhausting swim as the sea was very choppy! You can find the shipwreck easily as there is a broken off piece of rusty metal on land above it.

This was really worth the trip. It is really cool to see the Ship being taken over by the sea. We had some amazing snorkeling here and even saw a sea turtle. To get to the Ship you park at the archaeology site (follow the unpaved road) and walk towards the church, step over the broken fence. Then before entering the church perimiter take a left. Follow this unpaved "path". You will need to pass the no entry sign. Keep going and stay close to the fence of the archaeology site. You will meet a small beach and can either swim to the left or keep walking over the rocks to find the shipwreck.
