It's worth seeing as it is one of the few places to visit in Thebes. The story behind it is a whole book !!

Ενα ιστορικό μέρος με ιδιαίτερη αξία που όμως νομίζω θα έπρεπε να είχε αναδειχτεί περισσότερο καθώς συσχετίζεται σύμφωνα με την μυθολογία με την ιδρυση της Θήβας από τον Κάδμο.
Βρίσκεται στις δυτικές υπώρειες του υψώματος πάνω στο οποίο είναι κτισμένη η Θήβα

A historical place of special value, but I think it should have stood out more as it is associated according to mythology with the founding of Thebes by Kadmos.
It is located at the western foot of the hill on which Thebes is built

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η Κρήνη της δίρκης συνδέεται με την ιστορία και την μυθολογία της πόλης μας.
Βρίσκεται το τη Δυτική πλευρά του Λόφου της καδμείας όπου ονομάζεται κέντρο της σημερινής πόλης που πήρε το όνομα της από το μυθικό της Βασιλεία. Παλιά ήταν η Ακρόπολη της Θήβας και ο φυσικός λόφος λειτουργούσε και σαν οχυρό.
Καθώς περιβαλλόταν Απο τοίχοι που κατασκευάστηκαν από οικοδομικό υλικό της καδμείας και από τις πέτρες του τείχους του που είχανε γκρεμιστεί στο πέρασμα των χρόνων!!
The Pyrenean Fountain is linked to the history and mythology of our city.
It is located on the west side of the cadmium hill where it is called the center of today's city that took its name from the mythical Basil. The Acropolis of Thebes was old and the natural hill was also a fortress.
As it was surrounded By walls made of cadmium building material and by the stones of its wall that had been shattered over the years !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日本では「ディルケーの泉」として知られている、神話や物語の舞台です。テーバイの歴史を感じます。ここを通る車道はテーバイの城壁の下側に当たり、ここからしばらく北に向かって歩くと、壁の一部と思われる石材が道端に転がっているのが分かります。
This is the stage of myths and stories, known as “Dilke Fountain” in Japan. I feel the history of Thebye. The roadway that passes through here hits the underside of Thebye's wall, and if you walk north from here for a while, you can see that stone that seems to be part of the wall is rolling on the roadside.
