Στους τοίχους του υπάρχει ενσωματωμένο υλικό από αρχαία οικοδομήματα. O πύργος κτίστηκε τον καιρό που η οικογένεια Δελαρός ήταν κύριοι του Δουκάτου των Αθηνών (όλο τον 13ο αιώνα και μέχρι το 1308). Οι Δελαρός (de La Roche) ήταν Φράγκοι εκ Βουργουνδίας. Ο πύργος ήταν μέρος ενός δικτύου πύργων που ήταν σε οπτική επικοινωνία μεταξύ τους. Το δίκτυο εξασφάλιζε την άμυνα και την έγκαιρη ειδοποίηση σε περιπτώσεις εχθρικών επιδρομών. Εκτός αυτού, ο πύργος σίγουρα χρησίμευε και για την επιτήρηση των κτημάτων της περιοχής και πιθανότατα ήταν και κατοικία κάποιου τοπικού άρχοντα. Frankish tower located in Vravona / Vravrona, has three floors and a roof with 18 ramparts. On its walls there is built-in material from ancient buildings. Αυτό, σε συνδυασμό με το μεσαιωνικό πύργο είναι σαν σκηνικό ταινίας εποχής. Δεν έχει κάτι ιδιαίτερο να δει κανείς στο εσωτερικό του πλην της όμορφης θέας των παραθύρων του ισογείου που ακόμη και σήμερα δεν βλέπουν κάτι πολύ διαφορετικό από τότε που πρωτοχτίστηκαν. Δείξτε σεβασμό κατά την επίσκεψη μιας και ο δρόμος που βγάζει εκεί περνά από άλλα χωράφια και αν κανιβαλιστεί το μέρος ως είθισται πιθανώς να αποκλειστεί και η πρόσβαση σε αυτό. Nice location on a clearing overlooking the surrounding fields without a sense of human intervention (except for the sound of planes near the airport). This, combined with the medieval tower is like a backdrop of a period movie. It has nothing special to see inside except the beautiful view of the ground floor windows that even today do not see anything very different from when they were first built. Show respect during the visit since the road that leads there passes through other fields and if the place is cannibalized as usual, access to it will probably be blocked.
