A big thank you to our surf teacher Giovanni who speaks several languages, explains everything clearly and is really patience.
We will come back 2021!!! Corona hin oder her!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an unpleasant experience with Freak : the staff is unfriendly and yelled at me one day beacuse I have taken the"wrong" veil. You couldn't go farther than the red water wings where there was the strongest wind. I advice you Gone Surfing because the personnal is more helpful and also less strict. Plus, you have to pay to enjoy the sunbeds wich is stupid and sometimes the club closes because it is more windy and closes at 6pm which I find a little bit early.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A couple of hours well spent yesterday at freak surf station. The staff was very friendly, good teacher and high quality equipment. It was the first lesson and I was up and going after a while. I highly recommend the place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Freaking great windsurfsurf station at the best Meltemi windsurf spot on Crete. Hannes and his team are doing a really terrific job. Always the latest JP boards and NP sails - top equipment. I'm coming here since 2006 and always enjoy it a lot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hannes and his guys take care of the business well, guests can feel safe on the water all the time. You make a mistake, loose power, end up in water for longer time, they will take the jet and come to check you out and help if needed. Nice atmosphere, plenty of shadow, good equipment and the excellent beach bar. What else does a windsurfer need? ? The wind conditions can be challenging, a bit gusty which teaches you to be focused and ready. Spot rather for intermediate and advanced windsurfers but beginners will find their place as well.
