Γραφείο Ευρεσεως Ναυτικής Εργασίας είναι οι λέξεις απο τις οποίες προέρχεται η συντομογραφία ΓΕΝΕ. Ελπίζω κάποια στιγμή να στελεχωθεί καλύτερα και να πάψει να είναι μοναχά ένα στάδιο υποχρεωτικό πρίν την ναυτολόγηση για τον έλεγχο των διάφορων ναυτικών πιστοποιητικών . Επίσης η επιδότηση της ανεργίας ελέγχεται απο αυτήν την υπηρεσία και πρέπει ο άνεργος ναυτικός να παρουσιάζεται κάθε 15 ημέρες για να μπορεί να πάρει την επιδότηση. Αυτό σίγουρα πρέπει να αλλάξει .
