We were staying at the Intercontinental Hotel and happened upon his place just one block away.
In just a few short days we have become great friends and have enjoyed several meals with him.
Stathis is great, his food is great and you will NOT find a better place to have drinks, have a meal, and meet a new friend.
Thank you Stathis, you have made our vacation very memorable.

He will make your experience at Gaia unforgettable and you will say "Those Were the Days". Whenever in Athens we always make sure to spend time at Gaia. Stathis always surprises us will great food, drink and conversation. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This “One-Stop-Shopping for all” place was introduced by the concierge at InterContinental hotel from a block away. The owner of Gaia carefully and proudly lined-up numbers of items i.e. beverages, liquors, coffee, pastries, snacks and souvenirs… whatever you need during the travel must be found at here with very reasonable prices. But the best part is the coffee! I was introduced to iced Greek coffee and addicted immediately hence I kept stopping by this shop for purchasing a cup of cold coffee, lounging on the bench under the parasol where shop owner nicely prepared. The owner is a very fluent English speaker, probably better than me, therefore this shop has a lot of English speaking customers as well as native residents. If you are staying in Neos Cosmos area in Athens, particularly InterContinental Athens, it’s worth stopping at here to purchase a cup of coffee and snacks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my iced nescafe/frappe in this place. Very good. I stayed in the intercontinental hotel nearby. Owner was very nice and mentioned he also serves dinner, but I had no time to try, so will try next time. The area is a bit ‘peculiar’ perhaps, but I liked this spot.
