★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice guy speaking good English but we didn't like the food. We asked for a fresh juice and it was an industrial one and the pastries were not healthy either. He said on his door he accepts the card... When it doesn't. Disappointed overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent two days in an flat nearby and we stopped two times by this little grocery store. The owner is very friendly and speaks english very well, the greek coffee is top quality and his shop has almost everything you can find in a supermarket. He also gave us a good advice on which wine to buy. Great quality/price ratio overall! Highly recomended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gosh I miss this little market! Gaia is a wonderful small town experience in the middle of a thriving metropolis.
PROS:
A wonderful shop owner! I felt welcomed there every time I went. Even had some great conversation while there.
He really does have everything you could need and some things you know, you just want. ; )
Tasty coffee! Possibly the best Freddo Espresso I drank while in Greece.
A refreshing Aperol Spritz. Perfect for a sweltering July day in Athens.
A relaxing veranda to enjoy your Freddo.
CONS:
Maybe just one. ?♀️ It’s small inside. But I really think that lends to its charm.
CONCLUSION:
A must visit if your a local, or a tourist wanting to feel like you’re part of the neighborhood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely worth stopping, the coffee alone is outstanding, and Staffi the owner is a real gem. The shop has just about everything and is quirky and intesting. If you walk past and don't stop here you will have missed out on a truly great experience and wonderful hospitality. 5 stars is just not enough.
