Although it's essentially a place to eat meat, it has a LOT of vegetarian and vegan options, all marked, so that "everyone can sit at the same table and have a good time" as the owner commented.

For vegetarians or those in a rush for a meaty fix .... there are plenty of well executed main course choices and solid side dishes. ?? I really loved their spit roasted Piglet served with an outstanding mustard flavoured picalilli that my friends and I enjoyed with a Greek salad topped with a delish soft Feta cheese from Thessaly and a perfectly fried crisp flat bread with a touch of cheese. ????? The Gorgonzola Tzatziki was also tops .. and worth tasting! ?? For your sweet tooth try the yummy Loukoumades (honey puffs) ? ? with or without one of their tempting ice-creams or strawberry sherbet. Their chocolate icecream is tops and if you like rice pudding ... try their rice pudding icecream! ? The service was prompt and friendly and the prices reasonable for the quality of the food.

The service and the owners managing the place were top notch, we were working nearby on a music festival and returned to this spot a few times as smaller or larger groups (up to 18 people) and nobody got a single wrong order. The fried Zucchini is to die for, and the people working there make me want to return to Athens just to visit them, such a kind, generous and hospitable group of people . I'm guessing people who left a bad review about the service and hospitality must've been at another restaurant because we repeatedly had the best service Athens has to offer. I hope to visit this restaurant again on my next trip to Athens!

On the food end though - which is the main reason one vista a restaurant - kind of disappointing. potatoes were too oily and both the meat courses we ordered were mediocre. Service was indeed fast and polite and perhaps the only reason I would give it another chance. Everybody deserves a bad day.

The national quisine is very yammy, and the portion of each course is huge. I enjoyed it very much! ???

I have to bring my dad here to have one of his favorite dishes, gourounopoula (crackling pig on the spit), which they do very well.
