★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Αναρωτιέμαι πολλές φορές γιατί εμείς οι Έλληνες φτιάχνουμε κάτι και μετά το εγκαταλείπουμε. Αυτό συμβαίνει και με τη γέφυρα Κλαδισού. Μια μοντέρνα κατασκευή στην εκβολή του ποταμού Κλαδισού που ενώνει δύο μεγάλες παραλίες: της Νέας Χώρας και του Κλαδισού. Κατά τα τέλη Απριλίου ενώ είχαμε βγει για βόλτα κατά μήκος της ακτής φτάσαμε μέχρι εδώ μόνο και μόνο για να διαπιστώσουμε ότι δεν μπορούμε να συνεχίσουμε. Τα ανατολικά σκαλάκια κατέληγαν κατευθείαν μέσα στον ποταμό. Τελικά ποια είναι η χρησιμότητα της συγκεκριμένης γέφυρας?
I often wonder why we Greeks make something and then abandon it. This also happens with the Kladisos bridge. A modern construction at the mouth of the river Kladisos that connects two large beaches: Nea Chora and Kladisos. At the end of April, while we were out for a walk along the coast, we arrived here only to find that we could not continue. The eastern steps ended directly into the river. Finally, what is the utility of this bridge?

The area at the mouth of the river Kladisos has been rehabilitated to facilitate those who want to walk, run or ride there. The dirt road that exists to the west leads to Aptera beach, which extends to the beach of Chrysi Akti.
