G	George Alexandrakis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here after a laceration in my chin. It was small but deep. I got two stitches and the doctor was very nice about it. I went to get an X-ray as well, but the doctor wanted me to lie on a bed with blood on it. I pointed this out and the man was very rude and told me and my party to leave the room.
C	Christian Hille on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After having been nearly run over by a car in a pedestrian crossing my wife fell and banged her head in the road. Someone called for an ambulance which arrived within minutes and she was taken to the emergency unit. Without any waiting she was met by a doctor and went through headscan, ex ray and was subsequently sown up. Following this she was taken to a room for the night and given treatments through to the morning. She was luckily released in the afternoon. We will commend the hospital and doctors/staff for a very professional job done and the friendliness of all concerned. It made a pretty bad experience unto something we will remember with pleasure. Our EU medical card was accepted and no bill presented.

Doctors suggest it if I felt worse to go to the hospital which I did in Rethymno. Unfortunately my European health card expired on the 25/06/2019 and receptionist told me that if I need to see the doctor I should pay. This is absolutely not acceptable as my card was expired only for 7 days even if I order new one still have to wait to have it. I would not recommend this centre for tourist because if you don't have your card you can pass out front of the hospital and no one will pay any attention to you. Reception absolutely unhelpful ,didn't know event the price for private medical examination.
S	Samuel Johnstone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The very reason you need to have your own private health insurance which we had but were taken here.We used it in October 2019 the place is filthy it is nothing like an English hospital, minimal treatment, and no refreshments or food given after a day we signed my wife out a month later back home she was diagnosed with Colon Cancer has since died
A	Alex Chobanu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came to do the PCR test but unfortunately it was not working as they said at the emergency reception.As I have flight in two days-my Mom asked few more questions as the situation was critical.The guy at the reception started talking in a very rude manner to my Mother saying”I told you it is closed!”and so on.Its not only unprofessional but also shows the level of the education and zero human touch from the mentioned staff(which is essential in the hospitals!!)My Mom being very polite person said “It is fine perhaps he is tired and everyone is asking him the same questions on and on.”But i dont think thats an excuse for this person to speak this way to elderly people!!!It is his job!!I work in the customer service and patience is the key and this staff is lacking this quality.It is sad to see “someone like that” working in the hospital-very disrespectful!!!!
A	Aida Brazauskienė on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I want to give a big thanks to the Rethymno hospital staff, from emergency responders to nurses.. I never expected such care and hospitality. I was originally very scared to go to the hospital due to Covid-19. But in reality there’s very small possibility of getting infected in the hospital, because of all the strict measures taken. The required examinations were done immediately, even in the middle of the night. I am a Lithuanian living in Crete, so it’s not uncommon for me to not understand many greek terms, but the doctors were very patient in explaining everything to me and talking to me. In my head I had created a stereotype, that no one there would help me. However they did more examinations within a few days than I have gotten my whole life. This was not the first time my family has gone to the hospital; a few years ago my husband was in a car accident, after which he was nursed back to health, as well as another surgery a few months later. This was the third, and hopefully last time my family has to go to the hospital, therefore I want to leave a very heartfelt review for the staff’s excellent work, and again – THANK YOU

C	Cheryl Price on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rethymno Medical Centre advised us to go to the hospital to have husbands EKG checked and treatment for a lung infection. The staff we saw were so helpful and spoke good English. He saw a cardiologist who also helped with the EHIC card as well as doing ultra sound and echo scans! He also had xray, nebuliser, injections and blood tests, all within 5 hours. Treatment was first class, cannot rate them highly enough.Thanks to all who helped us.
