About Getaways Greece
Getaways Greece is based on the ancient idea of Greek philoxenia, known as hospitality. We have designed guided tours and activities in small groups, up to a maximum of 11 participants or privately. Our mission is to provide our guests with high-quality mainstream, as well as alternative tours that highlight the beauty and cultural heritage of Athens and Greece in general. Our carefully designed tours are carried out exclusively by minivan, offering comfort, safety, and privacy.
Our fleet includes modern air-conditioned minibusses up to 16 seats. We emphasize the cleanliness and maintenance of the fleet. All our buses work with a satellite connection system, which allows a constant location to ensure additional security. The drivers are professional, experienced, and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Genial excursión al cabo Sounio para ver el atardecer. El conductor es muy simpático y lleva muy bien la furgoneta (despacio y con seguridad). Se ve primero un lago, después hay tiempo para bañarse en una playa cerca del cabo Sounio y luego se sube al parque arqueológico (entrada no incluida). El atardecer fue el más bonito de mi vida.
Great excursion to Cape Sounio to see the sunset. The driver is very friendly and drives the van very well (slowly and safely). First you see a lake, then there is time to bathe on a beach near Cape Sounio and then you go up to the archaeological park (entrance not included). The sunset was the most beautiful of my life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked the Sunset tour at Temple of Poseidon Cape Sounion from an app called Get Your Guide.
Cost me £90 for two people. The tour van couldn't pick us up from our Airbnb as it was outside their remit so I changed the address to a hotel that was a couple roads down. They arrived on time and the guide Teddy was very friendly, informative and chatty. We drove to Lake Vouliagmeni where we spent about 10 mins unfortunately only saw the lake from up above... I think the area was closed off. Then we headed to some beach bar and spent over an hour there ordered a drink (service was slow) and sat watching the water. The toilets were disgusting there, hadn't been cleaned for a couple of days! Don't use them.Wait till you get to the Temple of Poseidon (toiles much cleaner there).
The only part worth seeing and doing of that whole tour was the Temple at sunset. That was truly magnificent!
