G	Gekis abel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a wonderful day which was made perfect by a visit to the Γiatras Μuseum and Dionysios Art Gallery in Agalas Zakynthos. Where I viewed many evocative paintings which I found very sensual smooth, velvety feelings and sumptuous designs. The painter made himself known to me and we had a long conversation about his work. He also suggested other places that I may enjoy visiting. After my visit I toured the other local sites mentioned and rounded off my perfect day. A place well worth a second visit

The journey continues through colourful trails highlighted by the Dionysios Art-Gallery inside the Museum. A place well worth a second visit.

I love the styles, and the artist was able to capture the colors of the Greek nature so perfectly. I'm happy to say that I met the artist himself and therefore, had the chance to tell him in person how much I love his work. I totally recommend a visit!

There was a lovely lady inside the museum who was able to give us the full history of the old buildings and told us about the artist Dionysios who is trying to restore the old family home destroyed in the 1953 earthquake. His art was exquisite! I couldn't resist buying a painting! I would highly recommend a visit to!
D	Dionysios Giatras on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic and classic If you happen to visit Agalas it is nice to take a look at the Γiatras Museum-Dionysios Art gallery. The colourful signs will guide you to it easily. It's a very neat museum of an very old olive press and a villa-house as it used to be years ago in Agalas. Raw, untouched, history is what you get, beautiful. The giant old olive oil press is very nice and in a very good state. If you want to buy some local art it is possible too. The owner is very kind and is very good at telling the story of the museum. This Art Gallery and Museum is well worth a visit

Its wonderful to see that someone is trying to restore part of the old buildings in Agalas and not let them fall in to ruin. The Museum is centered around the old olive factory that use to be there. The art gallery is small but has a lot of good displays of local artork.

Actually, these are the ruins of the artist's family house. The building was first destroyed by an earthquake in 1953 and then degraded by successive earthquakes. There you can see the old oil press, the old oven for bread, etc. You can buy artist's beautiful work. I highly recommend going back in time ... Magic
P	Philipp Lou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dionysio's little art gallery was definitely worth the short detour. The well preserved old olive oil press and the nice little garden gave a very local feeling. As a souvenir, we bought a few of his original little works of art at very reasonable prices, about whose creation Dionysios eagerly explained everything to us.
