A	Anastasia Foudouli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are visiting Thassos for the first time you definitely have to go there. Giola is a natural pool formed inside the rocks and it is quite the surreal landscape. Do notice though, that is looks bigger than it actually is in the pictures. To get there you need to walk down the rocks. There is nice path but flip flops are not recommended. You finally reach the pool and you will find many people attempting jumps from various heights.
D	Dejan Vojnovic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Giola. Cilinder in stones by the sea. It is located in stone slope. Very interesting for dive into the water. You should go there afternoon becouse it is wild beach without sunbeds. A lot of sun. It is possible to park car down there near Giola Taverna
B	Bistra Kunovska on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice please! Gyola is located near the village of Astris, but it is impossible to reach it by car. There are signs on the road, and after the turnoff there are several parking lots. It takes about ten minutes to walk through the olive groves and there are directions for the place everywhere on the stones. Gyola is a natural sea lagoon carved into the rocks, with crystal clear waters and a depth of about 2-3 meters. A unique place that is not suitable for a beach, but the experience is great.
R	Raluca Grigore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place. Be aware that the path from where you park the car until you reach Giola is on foot and not suitable for small kids. Also there is not much shade and the way back can be a lot of trouble if the sun is up. The natural pool itself is really nice and worth seeing, even if you don't like to jump from the cliff.
A	Ana Suarasan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful place, too bad it's surrounded by groups of people bringing their own music and capturing the scenery for fancy photo sessions, thus taking away the whole magic of the sea. Regarding the road, it's only manageable by car with a 4X4, a terrain car or so. There are several roads, but all difficult for a lower car. We left the car at the Kalami beach, and walked 20 minutes to the Giola natural pool.

We were in the evening and the bottom was not visible but we touched it a few times when we jumped from top to top. If I had to get there again, I would go during the day with swimming goggles to enjoy underwater.
M	Martina Seferovic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is beautiful! Like everyone else said, try to come a little earlier to avoid crowd. It’s a steep road down, it takes about 20 minutes from the parking lot. A little challenging to get down in flip flops, but manageable. Bring water!
D	Dave Pearson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are fit then you’ll manage this one if you have knee problems or you have mobility issues then I would recommend giving this a miss. Definitely not suitable for wheelchairs! You need to walk from the parking area down a rocky pathway it’s a dirt track to say the least. However if you do get to the pool it’s a pretty cool place, on our visit however there were some sunbather’s hogging the best view point and not making any attempt to move. A little bit selfish but there you go ?. If you want to jump in make sure to wear appropriate beach footwear because there’s a lot of sea urchins (ouch)! Apart from all that it’s a great sight to see.
