Staff was always helpful and nice. Good breakfast even though there could be more variety everyday. Location is great, steps away from the beach and several restaurants. 15 min away from the airport. Overall it was very good.

Nice and clean. Modern. Good WiFi. Close to the airport. Very good breakfast. We booked 1 large bed, but there were twin beds in the room. There was plenty of free parking nearby, may be due to the season.

This quality of this place stands out on the long promenade that skims the beach. From the first impressions on arriving and into the lobby, everything is clean, modern and welcoming. We had arrived a little early and the staff were happy to store our luggage securely while we sat on the well-decorated outdoor bar seating, overlooking the beach immediately across the walkway, enjoying our free welcome drink. The room was in perfect condition, modern and clean, and the bed with the coco-mat mattress topper was so comfortable. The shower space was a little oddly designed and it felt like keeping the water contained to the shower cube was like fighting a losing battle, so it meant asking for room service to refresh the room more often for that reason alone. The breakfast was amazing with a good selection of Greek cuisine and was very tasty and high quality. Again enjoyed indoors or outdoors overlooking the beach and calming waves. However, the dinner, priced at €19/each, upon inspection of the food choices available, didn't seem worth it with a huge selection of restaurants within a 10 second walk from the hotel. The lobby staff were very helpful in helping us find a market to buy fruit, and where take a pre-fight covid test, even drawing a map for us. So very grateful for their help.

I booked a basic room. Overall the hotel room is decent with small bathroom and a balcony. The location of the hotel is absolutely gold. You are literally 10 steps away from the beach. The beach and water is clean. (You can use the balcony to dry your clothes after going in the water) Many bars and restaurants nearby. The atmosphere is quite lively at night/evening.

Very nice place, super breakfast and very friendly staff. We had a very positive experience with the reception. Receptionist Kostas helped us book a car last minute which and was incredibly helpful. The restaurants close by are tasty and cheap and the view is georgous.

If you go to Thessaloniki and you want to stay outside the city and still be close to everything? Golden Star city Resort is your place to be. It’s a nice boutique hotel with very clean rooms good AC and top food & breakfast. They even have a spa & fitness !!
