★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I came twice during our Naxos trip. The owners are so hospitable and their food it delicious! As soon as we walked in, the owner, husband, greeted us and shared a cheers with us with a short cup of wine. We were then led by his wife towards their selection of food that was on display to choose from. We had a tuna dip as a starter that was paired with bread. For our main dishes, we shared fresh fish, grilled octopus then topped it off with delicious chocolate pie and orange pie. They also have their own house wine, which is served out of the barrel. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. We look forward to coming back next year because of this experience alone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food, even more amazing family. The Gorgonas know how to take care of their guests. The family makes their own house wine and it's delicious. I'm not sure if they even have an actual menu but you definitely don't need it. Just tell them what you like and they'll guide you.

Typical traditional taverna service:
A bit rustic, but heartily and genuine.
Don't fancy the house "wine" , it's not for fine bouche, but goes great with the flavours.
For that type of food solid 5 stars.
Ah... Enjoy the view!

The service could have been better. We had to wait a while for one of the main courses, which was annoying because the lamb chops got cold.
But still worth a visit.
