★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Free car park with great access to the Gortsia trailhead. Just off the main road with quite a few spaces. Ideal for walking to Olympus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beginning of the hiking trail through Petrostrougka refuge towards Muses plateau. Not much to see here, just start hiking. There is the option to rent a mule for help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is one of the starting locations for the hiking paths of Olimpos mountain. If someone does not wish to walk, or wants to hike with less things, mules is an option for a small price. The forest is beautiful at the area around, space for parking is also available.

Although Gortsia doesn't really have anything to offer, not even some water to drink.
